Big Thanks from Kylie!!!
During this mess with all the recalls and such, we are so happy to have been able to breathe a sigh of relief knowing that Kylie is eating Honest Kitchen and we haven’t had anything to worry about. I wish every company was using quality, clean ingredients so that no pet owner would go through the stress that many are facing today.”
Kylie just celebrated her 14th birthday this passed week and with feeding your food we are hoping she will have many more. You have NO IDEA how relieved we are to be feeding her your foods and knowing that we don’t have to be concerned with the ever widening mess that is going on. We have converted our friends over so they too don’t even need to read about the recalls and waiting till their food shows up, they can just go about playing and enjoying their furry friends.
Thanks Honest Kitchen, from the bottom of our hearts!! Oh and Kylie’s belly too!

Pet Food Recall
With the very sad news in the last few days, that yet another pet food recall has been announced by a major pet food manufacturer, following the illness and deaths of some beloved pets, we would like to assure our customers, that our products do not contain any wheat or wheat gluten ingredients and have not been impacted in any way by the recall.
Our products are made in a facility that makes human food, and the grade of our ingredients meets human-food criteria. We do not use petfood-grade quality ingredients of any kind and the ingredients we do use, undergo rigorous testing and QC to ensure they are safe even for a human to eat. The only grains we use are Certified Organic, human grade oats, barley, rye and coming soon – Quinoa.
We also offer several completely grain-free and gluten-free pet food diets, for customers who would like to eliminate grain from their companions’ diets.
Operation Doggy Drop
Due to the devastating hurricanes in South, an alarming amount of people and pets were displaced and left without homes. While there was some government help provided to assist with the displaced pets, most of the assistance provided was due to generous donations from everyday people like you and me. The loyal pet owners or just plain pet lovers in Hollywood have also been very generous and this Friday they’re having a party (err. fundraiser) to help pets without parents. The event starts at 7pm and is at the House of Blues.
Marc Rosen, a producer at Heyday Films, and also a foster dad to displaced pups is sponsoring the fundraiser. Here are his top reasons as to why celebrities love animals so much (from the la times):
1. They make the best fashion accessories. 2. They won’t sell photos of you to the paparazzi. (Or release tapes of you on YouTube!) 3. Poo disposal is humbling for anyone. 4. They love you even when the critics don’t. 5. You can kiss them all you want (within reason) without it making the magazines. 6. They won’t sue if you embarrass them on reality shows. 7. When you come home at the end of the day, whether that is a hotel room or a mansion or a trailer, they make it feel like home.
