FAQ’s

q. Why do I have to mail them in Honest Kitchen? This is 2010, can’t you make this electronic!?

a. We’d love to make this as simple as possible for you! Because we’re in about 1700 retail locations, we have no way of tracking in-store purchases  – therefore, we’re requesting that all UPCs are mailed in.

q. Shoot, I just threw away my box, will a receipt work?

a. Sorry, at this time we’re only accepting UPCs.

White As Snow!

I would like to write a review on your Keen formula. My Bichon’s been on it since the middle of September and I have seen the effects of your healthy food! The pads of his feet have become very, very black. For a while on the old food, they were looking grayish and not the dark black color pads that a Bichon Frise should have. Next, he had bad tear stains on the fur around his eyes and also stains around his mouth. They were very noticeable. After 2 weeks on Keen, they were gone! Third, he has noticeably more energy now. Fourth, he has finally stopped scratching! After being on Keen for a couple weeks, his allergies stopped. The Honest Kitchen was the only food that made his tear stains and beard stains go away completely.

It also feels so good that my dog loves his food and eats it when I put it down!

I have to tell you how much I love this book.

I would just like to tell you that I received your new recipe book “Made out of Love” and I have to tell you how much I love this book. I love the recipes; I love the pictures, and all the information about each product. You have done an outstanding job on this; it is filled with so much valuable information on each page.(Please let Lucy know)

This recipe book has something for everyone regardless of the type of food they feed. My 3 girls are so fortunate; they were raised on home prepared meals. Since I work full time, sometimes it was hard to come home from work after a long shift and put fruit and veggies in the blender to make “the green goop”, and mix with their meat. I tried everything, even making large batches and freezing individual servings, it was time consuming, and truly a labor of love. I always looked and remained open to a better, easier way to feed.

I grew up with my Mom using vitamins and herbs with us and making sure our meals were nutritious, and our pets basically ate the same thing that we did. Back then our pups eat a lot of healthy table scrapes and they never even received all the shots that they hand out now days, but our dogs were always very healthy and they each lived a long life. I learned back then the importance of good nutrition, not only for us, but also for our pets. I guess I was one of the lucky ones, who had been taught by my Mother how important good nutrition is, which in turn I have passed down to my sons. Having that knowledge and your product, it just does not get any better than this. Good feeding is preventive medicine for both people and pups.

I came across Honest Kitchen Food while down at the SDHS, and was very curious about it. I went home and started looking into to it, reading reviews, and looking into the ingredients, and after several days I decided to give it a try, I am so glad I did. It has definitely made it easier for me, no more having to come home to chop up veggies and put it into the blender. Now I re hydrate, and add what I want, it’s like working smarter, not harder.

I could go on and on, but I did have to let you know about the recipe book I received, and how much I love it. I am looking forward to any new products that might be coming out in 2010.

Thank you again for such wonderful products for our pets.
