This along with zeal have solidified my dog's bowel movements. She eats it all up and it also makes it easy to add in liquid fish oil. her health seems to have improved after putting her on this food, but i can't be scientifically sure it is the food. I dont think you would be amiss by trying it.

My name is Zoe and I am a 3 year old Yorkie mix. I have had a stomach ulcer before I was one and I have a tough time with food.Someone at Honest Kitchen recommended Keen to my Mom so we gave it a try. So far so good and I like the taste of human food instead of that yucky canned stuff. Let's keep our paws crossed since I am now on my second box! I still get some gas issues and I have an extreme high anxiety level... but I am trying...woof

We have 2 french bulldogs, 1 of which has had stomach issues for the longest time. We tried everything, different brands of kibble, raw food, and even cooking batches of beef and veggies with vitamins added. We just couldn't get a solid #2 from her no matter what. Not to mention when she ate she would spend 20 minutes pushing her bowl around the floor in protest. Then we tried the Keen formula and what a drastic change! It took approximately 4 days for everything to get solid but over the course of those 4 days you could tell it was getting better each and every time. We also mix in a little of the Perfect Form Supplement which I'm sure factors in to how great her #2's are now. Does she like the food? Well she now waits in the kitchen around breakfast and dinner time and stares at the location where her food is. Once she sees us preparing it she goes nuts barking and jumping. The few minutes she has to wait for it to rehydrate is agony for her. To say she loves it, is an understatement. I am so happy to have this food for her!

We have been feeding our 2 Border Collies Keen for years. We just love it. Our boy has a slight sensitivity to gluten so we alternate some of the more expensive grain free recipes with the Keen and he does great on it. Big thanks to Honest Kitchen for using such wonderful human grade ingredients and giving a great selection, my dogs love the variety they get to enjoy!

I really love the keen! it is easy to make and has the nutrients I am looking for in a food! Im impressed by the ingredients list and think this is perfect for someone who wants to feed a raw diet without all of the mess and inconvenience!

Loved this product! My 4 year old, Fyedka, loves all kinds of food but had a hard time maintaining a good weight. this food really helped her out. It may be expensive but is worth every penny.

our three dogs LOVE this product. They love all Honest Kitchen products actually. We have tried Zeal and also this product Keen. To our dogs, there was really no difference. This one is much cheaper I think because it's Turkey instead of Fish

We have a 3 year old Springer Poodle mix. She absolutely loves the Keen food. Half of her diet each day is Keen and the other half is raw. Sometimes I can't tell if she's more excited to wake us up in the morning to play or if its because she can't wait to eat her Keen! I would highly recommend this food.

I have 2 Border Collies. One of them is a picky eater, the other has a sensitive system. I did a lot of research on different dog foods - trying to find one food I could feed both dogs. I've found it! They absolutely love Keen! They stand next to me when I'm preparing it and as soon as the food hits their bowls, they race to their crates to be fed! (even the picky eater!) I'm also pleased with the ease of preparation as well as the limited ingredients.

We have 5 english mastiffs, one being a male with bladder stones (cystine). We've tried everything, the last being home cooked meals. At the recommendation of another breeder, I ordered the Keen and he eats every bite! I'm using about 2/3 Keen and 1/3 homemade right now, but may switch him over completely to Keen. I highly recommend this food!

Written by Mary | 12/27/14

My two senior dogs, one a Sheltie on a special kibble for bladder problems, and the other a mixed breed about fourteen who was also on a special diet. Needless to say, all this special food cost a lot and they didn't even like it that much unless it was "enhanced" with real meat and vegetables. Most days they picked at it.

Then a friend who works with therapy dogs recommended Honest Kitchen food, and I decided to try it. An email response to Honest Kitchen told me which kind would be best for both girls-Keen- and I ordered it.

They start barking and running in circles around supper time now, and it is gone within three minutes after I put it down.

It makes me feel good to know I'm giving my girls food that's good for them and makes them eager to eat, that both of them can eat, and that ends up being more economical in the long run.

They're keen for Keen, that's for sure!
