Zeal™ is a grain-free dog food made with wild, line-caught white fish and produce like sweet potatoes, pumpkin and parsley. Zeal is a natural human grade dog food that’s created especially for adult dogs with certain dietary restrictions.

One of our most popular dog foods, Zeal is higher in protein and low in fat and carbohydrates. Because Zeal is a limited ingredient diet, it’s especially suited for pups who do better without certain pet food ingredients, like poultry, flax and white potatoes.

I tried all of the grain free flavors and this by far was the favorite of both dogs. My picky eater licked it right off the spoon. I new it was going to be a hit!

My dog Sam was diagnosed with IBD 1 year ago and it has been a struggle ever since to maintain his health. He was on a home cooked diet of duck and then we tried rabbit ( as the single source protein) until he had a setback 3 weeks ago. My vet than suggested using fish as the single source protein. I was so pleased to find Zeal. It has been 2 weeks since I started feeding him Zeal and have had great results. The food seems to make Sam feel full and he does not seem to be constantly hungry. Sam's stool has significantly less mucus and blood which is a great improvement. I strongly recommend this product for dogs with IBD. I know that trying to find the right combination of food, herbs and prescription medications is an exercise in trail and error. I know how frustrating this journey can be when you see your pet not feeling well. This food has gotten me one step closer to finding the proper balance for my dog and hope it works as well for your dog..

We are fairly new to Honest Kitchen, and decided to try out Zeal after our pup finished his first box of Embark. I was hoping that the fish would her our Shih Tzu's yeast issue in his ears, but it seems to have worsened it. The Embark seems to help though, and we will try the duck version once it is released.

The smell is definitely a little... undesirable, too. I suppose it is to be expected with fish though!
