They changed the recipe to make these treats grain free by adding chick peas. My dog absolutely loved the original recipe and she would do anything for them. She is allergic to chick peas, so now these treats give her diarrhea. It breaks my heart. There are not many treats she can eat. Now I don't know what we will do. Wish Honest Kitchen would offer the old Duck and Cherry treats, too.

So sad you changed the treats....I have 5 dogs and purchased them every month. Is there a reason for this change? They are totally different.

Love this treat recipe even more now that they are grain free. However I can only give them 3 paws due to the size and calorie change. It would've been a much better idea to make these in the original size with the same calorie content but make them easily breakable like the new treats are. Dog owners who must watch calorie intake would have no issues and neither would small dog owners. Just a thought.

My pup loves these and I like that you can actually see bits of real cherry in the treat.

One of my rescue pups has weight issues no matter what we or our vet do to help. I refuse to loose my dog before her time just because her weight is too much for her hips so I count every calorie & it helps. This used to be the only brand of treats she could have several of a day with no worries, as the Nuzzles & Smooches were less than 3 calories each. Now they're smaller & 3 times the calorie count. It took me months to find a treat that worked for her. Now the search will begin again.
