Our pet friendly office is located in sunny San Diego, CA with easy access to gorgeous beaches and trails, which we like to explore with our pets on the weekends and before we start our days. We've been recognized for our unique corporate environment (which isn't very corporate at all!) by Outside Magazine and are one of their top 30 companies to work for.

a message from our president
I founded The Honest Kitchen in 2002. I had begun making a homemade raw diet for my Rhodesian Ridgeback, Mosi, but found it quite time consuming and frequently ended up with a very messy kitchen! I set out to find a way to make fresh, natural dog food much quicker and simpler to prepare....

meet the team
We're a team of cooks, explorers, mothers, fathers, and most of all, pet lovers! Besides the dogs who join us at the office every day, our extended animal family includes: 9 chickens, 7 cats, 2 horses, 2 sheep, 1 tortoise, some fish, 1 robo hamster and 1 bearded dragon named Louis! Pawlanthropy is an arm of our company that focuses on charitable giving. Pawlanthropy encompasses several programs through which we give a percentage of the profits from our online store, to various animal-welfare, humanitarian and environmental causes.
