I’ve been feeding Embark for many years and it’s my favorite Honest Kitchen food! I love it because it uses cage-free, hormone-free Turkey as the number one ingredient and my dogs love it because it tastes so yummy! Embark is perfect for my two very active dogs who train and compete in agility. And because it is grain-free, it’s perfect for my girl who “leaks” (urinary incontinence) when she eats foods that have grains in them. After feeding, Honest Kitchen for over 5 years now, I am convinced that they offer the VERY BEST when it comes to natural, wholesome foods for our pets!
This is one of the BEST foods on the market! My puppy LOVES it! My vet tried to tell me today that he wouldn’t eat anything else once I get him hooked on real food. His is mistaken. Anyway, for Embark, I add a different meat once in a while to make him smile bigger! I don’t know why our vet pushes the junk foods like Science Diet and Iams, when there’s stuff like this available, and their supposed to be trying to get their patients well aren’t they? Or aren’t they??? Makes one pause. He’s not a holistic vet, so that’s probably the issue. And I understand that they make a HUGE profit off of food sales.
I use this Embark, and HALO for my backup, both wet and dry for when I’m super busy, and I cook meals when I have more time.

My little man, Mr. Bojangles, is a toy Australian Shepherd. When he turned 2 yr. old he developed some sort of allergy with severe skin inflamation and diarrhea. The only way I could get rid of it was to make his food at home. I did not have time for that. I saw the Honest Kitchen on Food Networks “Will Work for Food”, so I ordered a box of Embark. Now he has great skin and solid pooh. He always does a little dance when I am making it up. It’s easy to take camping too.

My dogs LOVE Embark! It is awesome to travel with and entices even my wary traveler into eating on the road. Having turkey as the only meat also makes Embark a wonderful food for my older dog with food allergies. She is so happy eating Embark – and no itching!
I love that this product is grain-free. I have recently started using this product for my pup to give him a new flavor. He LOVES it! He goes nuts during the 10 minute wait.
Awesome stuff! We originally fed raw and when we moved cross country, I purchased Embark since it was so convenient to use/feed. My bichon girls decided they preferred it over rmb’s! So they are now eating Embark and will be trying the other formulas as well for variety plus some raw meat/organs, eggs, etc as toppers.
