We had a dog that just free-fed on her measure of kibble throughout the day, but when we added a new pug puppy that wasn’t going to work anymore – he’ll eat whatever he can get his mouth on! So we needed something that would entice our older dog to eat her whole meal when you put it down. I didn’t want to use nasty traditional wet dog food, and my research led me here.

It took a few weeks of adjustment for her to adjust. We mixed the Force with things she particularly likes (peanut butter, diced meat, etc.) gradually increasing the amount of Force until she was eating 100% Force. Both dogs now happily plow into their portion and lick the bowl clean every time.

We did find that the additional of a *tiny* drizzle of veggie oil on top of the food was needed as both dogs seemed to get a little constipated on the straight Force. But that very little bit of extra fat seems to have fixed that, with no ill effects.

Buddha and Stella just turned five. They’ve been eating FORCE since they were puppies and not a day goes by that I am not stopped while out and about with them and asked “What do you feed your dogs?”

Their coats shine like hematite, they have sparkling white teeth and they still have the energy of puppies. (Of course, they ARE Labradors).

I can not thank Honest Kitchen enough for this truly fabulous food. Well done.

Force is an excellent grain-free food! I love that it includes free-range chicken as the number one ingredient. My dogs love *all* of the Honest Kitchen foods, but Force is perfect for my girl who “leaks” (urinary incontinence) when she eats foods that contain grains. On Force, she is happy, healthy and “leak” free!

I absolutely love it and so does our dog! Before she would let her food sit for hours and take a nibble now and again, but with Honest Kitchen she is excited to eat! She can’t wait until my wife or I put her bowl down, she’s healthier, thinner and happier. We love this food and recommend it to EVERYONE who wants a happy healthy pet.

we have two small rescue dogs and one loves FORCE, but the other wont eat it? we feel like she’s being a kid who only wants her junk food, not the amazing healthy food we made her. we were so excited to try it because we want to feed our dogs healthy food, and it looks amazing and smells so fresh. any tricks how to get a picky eater to try it?
