I am in love with your dog food! I received samples at Super Pet Expo in NJ last February and switched my dogs and never looked back!

Force is the first grain-free food that doesn’t leave my dogs gassy. It is super easy to make and it smells like real food – I add in grain-free canned food, yogurt or cottage cheese or some raw every now and then.

I also like how easy it is to store. I live in a tiny apartment with space at a premium – no giant bags of kibble anymore! Everyone compliments how great my dogs look. I am a forever customer!

  2. [...] of food, which I love because it’s super-healthy and so easy to prepare. It’s made by The Honest Kitchen, is packed full of free-range meat, veggies, herbs & nutrients, and all you need do is add a [...]

Midgie seems to love this food better than the Preference which I thought she could never like anything better. I like the convenience of not having to add meat, but if I have extra I will add. Force is a little mushier than Preference but just as easy to prepare. My hopes for THK is they do away with the alfalfa or substitute for something else. My vet informs me to be careful leaving this food set out for any period of time due to the face that alfalfa can grow some kind of fungus that causes Listeria. It would also be nice if THK can come up with a way to make this into a kibble without processing so I can free-feed as I only have 1 Chi & she suffers from severe food & environmental allergies & is limited to just this food. She is not overweight & I’ve always free-fed until about 1 year ago. I hope THK keeps up the great work & is around for years to come. They have definitely won my patronage!!

After losing our beloved Shih-Tzu 6 months ago I did a lot of research. I couldn’t believe what I learned about kibble and the synthetic chemicals they add to dog food. Ethoxyquin was one of the ingredients listed in many of them and I was beside myself. I researched the Honest Kitchen food and started our 9 year old Lab and our new Shih-Tzu puppy on it. My Lab loves Force and he’s coat looks amazing! We started our puppy on Embark and recently (he’s 6 months old now) switched him to Force as well. They both love the food and are so healthy. My Vet tells me my puppy is so healthy and looks great. My Lab who had a very sensitive tummy hasn’t had any issues with Force. I can’t imagine giving my babies anything else! I love the Honest Kitchen and tell everyone I know about it.

I adopted my Collie, Dana, from her breeder who was no longer going to breed her. Dana really grieved when she first came home with me and, I believe her emotional sensitivity combined with food I used, caused her to develop bloat. I was so terrified that I might lose her. After trying several different foods, I tried Honest Kitchen, Force. She never had a problem since that time. She is extremely heatlthy per our Vet and never has any gastro-intestinal upset. Surely our dogs deserve the care and quality of food we get for ourselves!
Thank you for this wonderful product. Janet Moyer

When we rescued a 7 year old Yorkie, who had ONLY eaten wet food her entire life, we learned that switching to a kibble type food would not be easy. With some patience, and ….. some more patience, we were able to switch over to the Honest Kitchen Force. SHE LOVES IT. We had no “accidents” while switching, her tummy adjusted VERY well. Now when I’m in the kitchen she thinks I’m in there to cook for HER and her only, it’s funny. I’m a huge supporter for the product.

I really love this dog food! I first got it to make our traveling easier. But we use it every day, in place of smellly canned food. My puppies almost eat too quickly with this yummy food.

  8. Jessica Grahm says:

My 4 standard poodles love Force and Embark which I feed on an alternating basis. Gone are the infected ears and the gassy tummies. I’m telling everyone about these foods, which, if I were not a vegetarian, I might be eating myself. They smell so good that it’s tempting.

  9. Robyn says:

Jack, my 4yr old boston terrier mix, often seemed constipated so I wanted to put him on a wet food. He is also allergic to grains though, so the choices were limited. I saw Force and decided to try it. Jack loves it!

My picky rat terrier, Eddie, also loves this food and will spin in circles waiting for it. We alternate with dry food, which he doesn’t seem very interested in… but with Force he is very eager and will continue to lick his bowl when it is gone.

I love the ingredients list and how easy it is to prepare and store. Just scoop and add water rather than dealing with can openers, sharp lids, and stinky empty containers. My dogs hate the waiting 10 minutes part though.

(Sounds like poor Levi might have a constipation problem with a rebound of diarrhea?)

  10. Steve Young says:

I spent $400 – $500 on poor Levi, my four year old blue merle Sheltie, trying to solve his gut problems. No matter what I tried, he would have a bout of explosive diarrhea about every two weeks. Finally in desperation I tried “Force” and it was like flipping a switch! Suddenly he’s turned into a normal dog! He loves it so much, I think I may have to cut back his portions because the vet said he was getting “love handles.” Before we put him on “Force” he was a picky eater at best. We put our other dog, Pepper on it even though she didn’t have any real problems, and after she got used to it, she seems to love it too. Thanks!!!!
