I absolutely LOVE the LOVE. Just whelped a litter and the mom is on LOVE. Easiest delivery of a litter we have ever had in many years of breeding and healthy pups growing great. I will continue to use this for all my pregnant polish lowland sheepdogs. Great job and very pleased with the new resealable bags! The rest of my crew are on Keen and I couldn’t be happier. They can’t wait to get their food and not a speck is left in their bowls. Plus NO allergies. Its terrific.
I have fed Preference for many years due to having a food allergic dog, who cannot eat any poultry or fish products. I added 80/20 ground chuck for the protein. When Love came out, I was overjoyed that I would no longer have to spend half a day making dog food with the Preference and adding the meat. However, when it is mixed, it is gummy, with no visible signs of the meat. One of my dogs will not even eat it, and the others are hesitant. Of the Preference, I cook 20# of ground chuck to 10 cups of the dry Preference, adding water, and a box lasts approximately 2 1/2 months, feeding 5 small dogs and sometimes one or two fosters, so convenience does count.
I received a mini sample of LOVE at the Houston Pet Expo yesterday. I served it to my Jack Russell for breakfast this morning and she SCARFED it up and licked the bowl clean! I’d call that a “clue” that she REALLY loved it!
My doggie really loves this except for the cranberries. She spits those out of her bowl. At least they are large and easy to remove.
We received a test group box of Love from the very nice sales representatives at the Honest Kitchen booth at the Weiner Dog Races. Chile absolutely LOVED love. She usually sits and waits patiently when we tell her to stay before releasing her to eat her food. When we serve her Love she slowly inches her way over to the bowl until we look at her and she slinks back. I also gave some of the Love to a couple friends, one who has a Scottish Terrier and one has a LabX and Cocker Spaniel they all loved it too. Bordy is a picky eater- so I think… I made the sample pack and when it was ready, He popped his head up because he smelled something different. Walked right over to his bowl and started devouring the food. I never saw him eat a new food like he did the “LOVE” sample I made for him. I an so excited, I may have found a NEW alternative for his food
