I wanted to thank you all at The Honest Kitchen. Sasha, my finicky little one, is finally eating well. Previous to trying your products, we've gone thru anything and everything on the market. Either the foods wouldn't agree with her of she hated the foods that were good for her. Now she actually looks forward to dinner instead of running and hiding under my bed. After 2 wks now, she has a healthy & shiny coat, more energy, much more playful, less eye secretions, and less "doggy" odor too.

I am a dog trainer and we promote your food a lot in our classes when we discuss nutrition. We see a lot of behavior issues with dogs that are on high carb food. We had one of our clients that has a chocolate Standard Poodle. She was feeding it some off brand for which she noticed the dog’s coat was getting dull. It was not the deep brown any longer. So she switched to the Honest Kitchen a couple months ago. She says the color of her coat is changing back to the dark brown. In fact, the dog looks as if it has huge dark brown spots coming up through the dull color. The dog is happier and coat is getting healthy and the owner is totally sold on the excellent quality of your food. Thank you for thinking of our “best friends”.

 

Aside from the dogs loving your foods, I like the fact that it costs about the same as the canned food (less for some of them), but without the mess and smell of the cans - better for environment too. I'm also giving them a better meal - human grade food was a big part of my search.

Seamus is a 13 year old Golden Retriever. He is my baby too. Due to a sensitive stomach and weight loss as a result I started him on a mostly can food diet. With all the problems with the dog food I was worried he would get sick or start losing weight again. I saw an add for Raw food and decided to try it. Seamus loves it. Due to his age he is nearly blind and partial deaf. Once I re-hydrate his food he smells and actually comes running for it! His activity level is higher, he is walking better and general just happier.

During this mess with all the recalls and such, we are so happy to have been able to breathe a sigh of relief knowing that Kylie is eating Honest Kitchen and we haven't had anything to worry about. We wish every company was using quality, clean ingredients so that no pet owner would go through the stress that many are facing today. Thanks Honest Kitchen, from the bottom of our hearts!!

I love your food, and my French Bulldog-Truman-loves it too. I don't actually eat it, but I tell people who ask me about dog food that if I were forced to eat a dog food, it would be from The Honest Kitchen.

My husband and I are owned by 10 wonderful dogs (a wonderful byproduct of being involved in rescue for several years). We switched the 'kids' over to The Honest Kitchen about 2 months ago and are AMAZED! This is the first, and only diet that all 10 dogs (ages 1-16 years) have all thrived on. Our youngest, a 4lb Chihuahua eats her meals with gusto and we truly feel we are giving her a wonderful advantage in life by starting her off with a fabulous diet. In the past, we fed a vast array of dog foods (all premium but typically kibble) but were very hesitant to switch the eldest over to this new diet. Sophie had troubles with soft/loose stool but since switching her to The Honest Kitchen, she is THRIVING! Our Pekingese, Brandy is the worlds pickiest eater (this is a common Peke quality). It was normal for her to skip meals and show no interest in food. Since switching her to The Honest Kitchen, she RUNS for her breakfast and dinner. We just wanted to thank you for making such a wonderful product. Keep up the great work!!

I am owned by 3 Shih Tzu with different allergies and medical issues. This is the first time in years that I have them all on the same food. My 15 year old is allergic to most proteins and rice and has sebhorea and ear infections. My 6 year old was diagnosed with crystals and has been plagued with hot spots the last two years. She can eat no processed food with chicken in it. My 4 year old only has a weight issue. I had the two on Timberwolf and my Senior on IVD potato and venison. Even though I have to vary the proteins, they are all eating the Preference. They love it. They lie beside their bowls waiting for it to process. They finish their bowls completely, which my picky 6 year old has never done.
Their fur is so soft and growing quickly. My Senior has had no problems with itching or ears. My 6 year old has had no hot spots. I am anxious to see what the results are from my 6 year old's urine test in another couple of weeks.

I had some confusion at first and with your help, have it all down to a science now. Thank you for your help and excellent product.

Thank you for the wonderful products. My Jack Russell Terrier is 12 years old and seems to have a lot more pep that he did 3 weeks ago. He is also shedding less and his coat seems healthier.I just love my Jackersboy and cannot thank you enough.

I thought making the raw switch would be hard but every Sunday a break up some organic grass fed beef or chicken and put them in baggies or tupperware and freeze. I take them out as I need mix with force, yogurt, pumpkin puree and a gourmet meal fit for a king- they dance for food now and they never did that before. Thanks for making a product that I feel safe feeding my dogs and they thank you for the goodness of every bite.

The Honest Kitchen works perfect. It is quick to fix, smells pleasant, is fresh, whole and nutritious, and I don't have to spend hours trying to analyze the diet to make sure it is balanced. Best of all, my dogs are now eager to eat with The Honest Kitchen!

Small changes in his diet usually cause lots of intestinal problems, but he has not had any adverse reactions to this food (rather a miracle for us).

For Drew, my 5 month old Groodle, what better way to grow up than on this terrific product.
She likes it and I feel good knowing that I am feeding her a high quality item and not something I wouldn't eat myself.

When the bowl was sitting on the counter rehydrating he was standing on his hind legs trying to smell it. It does smell really good (to me, too)!

Just wanted to let you know that my dogs are loving your food. They sit very impatiently through the 10 minute rehydration process. :-) They won't even be fooled by being let outside-they know!

The Foxhound was a very picky eater and it took him forever to eat with the others trying to snatch his food. Now he chows down, never taking his head out of the bowl.

My 1 1/2 yr. old Shih Tzu was having various gastrointestinal issues. Sonograms, bloodwork, & x-rays all came back negative. Various prescription diets were tried-he started vomiting from the 'alternative chicken protein' diet made by Hills. I would vomit too if I were eating droppings from the chicken farm floor.

I was elated to find your food on the internet, and more elated still after the colitis went away, and the vomiting stopped. Your grain-free food is perfect for my little guy. My Sheltie loves Verve and has a smile on her face after eating now. I don't feel guilty about feeding them 'dog food' anymore.
