Thrive is my favorite THK food! It fits the bill for all of my dogs and any time I can feed all 3 with the same product it makes my life so much easier. My 9 month old puppy, my 2 yr old agility dog and my 3 yr old dog with hip/knee problems (who doesn’t eat gluten or white potatoes) can all eat this and they love it! My Labrador Retriever has had tummy issues since he was a puppy. He is now 11. We have recently switched from kibble to the HK products. I feel really good about this product. We started on Keen which he loved but was giving him horrible gas. I just switched to thrive and he is in love. His demeanor changed within a day. He was so happy and comfortable. His tummy troubles dissappeared. I know it tastes good because he would pass up kibble to stand by the table while we have dinner. Now if I feed him while we eat he goes to his bowl first. I have always fed primarily home cooked food to my 2 Eurasiers and have dabbled in raw and some premium kibbles but about 2 months ago I tried the Honest Kitchen Thrive and my dogs are definitely “Thriving” on it! Both dogs have always been very healthy with beautiful coats and teeth so that remains the same but the change that I see is that they both seem even brighter in their dispositions and energy levels. My 6 year old male has always been a more serious and less playful dog than my female but now he gives her a run for her money initiating games of chase and wrestle and he literally seems to glow from the inside.
My constant concern in my years of homecooked diets with supplements was that I could be missing some important vitamins/minerals so feeding the Honest Kitchen products as a base takes away that concern and I now feel confident that I am providing my dogs with excellent well balanced nutrition and real food. I also look forward to starting our puppies on this product and being able to provide my puppy families with such a terrific and easy option for a lifetime of good nutrition for our puppies.

When I first started to use THK, I started off with Thrive. My pup had a very sensitive tummy and any kibble or other commercial dog food would give him an EXTREMELY upset tummy (even high quality kibble!) After getting tired of cleaning up the constant messes every where, I tried Thrive, this stuff gave him firm stool after the first feeding! I also love that I can be certain that this product has quality human-grade ingredients and I can find out where they come from.
I recently started eating all natural, organic food myself so I’ve been looking for something of the like for my 5 month old Pomeranian. Today at the pet store a man offered me a free sample of Thrive which I literally fed to my pup 30 minutes ago. Thinking he wouldn’t like it much, I was COMPLETELY wrong. Thistle is a 2 yr. old border collie who went through a rough patch at the beginning of 2007…He is now a happy active border collie, but still retains his fussy eating habits…When I gave him Honest Kitchen’s Thrive for the first time, he ate like there was no tomorrow and licked the bowl clean!
