The ’seal of approval’ of a dog food is if our Rottie-X flips over her dinner bowl, looking for another morsel … and that’s what this girl does with Verve.

I have two male pugs, both seniors. My oldest, George, will turn 12 years old on November 1st. Although he has had no major health problems, he has lacked energy and enthusiasm. He reminded me of Eyeore from Winnie the Pooh. I switched the boys to Verve a month ago and what a difference! George now has enthusiasm and energy (more like Tigger). His brother, Rocky (age 11 years), has had stiff joints and now he isn’t limping as much. Both boys had coarse feeling coats, now they are much softer. I’m definately going to keep them on Honest Kitchen food!

I have a four-year-old Chinese Crested whose health has always been excellent except for persistent tearstains. I was feeding her two homecooked meals plus one small meal of rotating high-quality kibbles every day. About three months ago, I switched out one of her homecooked meals for one meal of Verve. She loves, AND her tearstains are reduced to almost nothing. I’m very pleased with the quality, and with my dog’s enthusiasm for it.

I have a 10 yr old border collie/chow mix with a lot of health issues. I have switched him to the Verve since it is low in fat. At first my concern was for the bell peppers in the ingredients. THK has since taken the bell peppers out. (bell peppers can irritate arthritis) I was so excited. Thank you guys for the wonderful food you make and the research behind the ingredients you put in.

I switched both of my corgi’s to Preference in August. I chose to use this variety where I could add wild salmon daily as their protein choice. My 7.5 yr old male corgi that has struggled with weight his entire life (vet says he has the chubby thighs in the family) lost 14 lbs in 8 months. My 2 yr old female last 4 lbs. I walk my dogs over 6 miles a day, and the oldest still struggled due to a slow metabolism. My vet informed me that I was onto something and he has never seen this result before. Basically I feed them what I eat. For snacks they get veggies and apples. I’ve now just started feeding them Thrive as well since I learned they used Certified Humane chicken. I don’t eat meat and want my dogs to only have meat products where I know the animals are treated well. Thank you to having such a great product. I tell everyone I know about it!
