My 4 year old Portuguese Water Dog has been on Honest Kitchen since she was 6 months old. She has IBS and cannot have grains or gluten. One time I made the mistake of buying kibble that was advertised as “grain free” and she ended up with HGE, which nearly killed her. I will never feed her anything else. She is healthy, gorgeous, smells great, and has no allergy or serious symptoms of IBS. She also loves it. It’s important to keep her in top shape, since she is also my service dog.
In mid Feb.2010 my 16 year old JRT/BC mix was very sick. I have always tried to feed the best most natural grain free foods.I also supplemented with fresh raw when I could. His liver enzymes were off the chart and the vet told me to feed him the Rx food in his clinic, low residue. I was sure I was going to loose my old friend when I decided to try HK gluten free formula. He came back in 3 days and has been back to his funny old man self for 3 boxes of HK! I have two shelties who participate in agility. My oldest, at almost nine years old, has been to AKC Agility Nationals four times. She consistantly does very well in her height class and has been on HK for four years now. My younger dog, Ziva, is amazingly fast and has been on HK since she was a pup. She is now three. My vet consistantly remarks on my two dogs being the healthiest dogs he sees in his entire practice! He is now recommending HK to other patients. I’ve been doing that for years now! I mix three of your products into one small baggie so that their diet includes most of your ingredients. My dogs actually pace around for dinner every night. They love it.
I have 2 small dogs who were rescued last July from a puppy mill They were sick and had to undergo heartworm treatment as they tested positive They initially were fed canned dog food and the female gotquite fat Then I was informed that small dogs can get pancreatitis from can food and I knew we needed to find a new food Some one recommended your food and I absolutely love it I was able to drop a little weight off the female by adding sweet potatoes and pumpkin but with the warm water she was always full
Their coats are shiney they don’t shed and never have gas or diarrhea I absolutely love this food and plan to switch my cats over too It is awesome keep up the good work
My Danes loved the smell so much I had trouble getting their noses out of the way to open the tubs! She never ate all her kibble – ever! And the Verve she is eating it up!!

Thanks so much. One of my dogs had been vomiting daily and I had given her every test possible and the Vet could not find anything wrong. Since I put her on this diet along with raw bones, she has not thrown up at all. It has been about a month.
Bella and Luna love the Verve, thoroughly enjoy the raw meat, do not have the doggy odor any longer and seem to be very bright, healthy and happy, with plenty of energy. I still have not given them a bath and do not need to! Their eyes are bright, skin clean, coats soft and silky. I don’t plan on buying any dry dog food again. I would recommend this product to anybody. Keep up the good work!
My Bichon Frise does really well on this. He likes the taste also. He prefers it more when I boil some plain chicken in plain water and use the broth to mix Verve with. Then he gobbles it up. He looks very healthy. He has been eating Verve for 2 months and next I am going to try Embark.
This was the first food I tried by Honest Kitchen. It really improved my dogs bowel movements and his dry skin went away. There was no convincing him to eat it, he instantly loved the flavor.
