A yummy and easy recipe created by Grace for her four pups!

We call these “Love Drops” and my 4 dogs love them!! One of my dogs – Rocky- actually “licks” the oven while they are baking! We also share them with our overnight guests at our boarding resort.

½ cup Love™ dehydrated dog food
½ cup of organic barley flour
1 egg
2 tbsp organic honey
½ cup organic oatmeal
¼ cup organic ground flax meal
½ cup pureed fresh organic (peeled) apple and carrots (usually about 1 small apple and 3 small carrots)
Warm water

What to do
Preheat the oven to 375F
Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
Mixed in the pureed ingredients.
Add warm water in small quantities until the desired consistency is met (depending on if you roll and cut the dough or if you just drop by the spoonful). Less water is needed for rolling and cutting.
You can either roll the dough out and cut into shapes or drop the dough by the spoonful onto a very lightly greased cookie sheet (safflower oil is best). If rolling dough and cutting, refrigerate dough overnight wrapped in wax paper for firmer consistency.
Drop by the half teaspoonful onto cookie sheet or place cut dough onto sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 20 mins. Let cool and enjoy! Refrigerate unused treats and store up to 1 week, or freeze and use a portion at a time.
