Dear Honest Kitchen,

My service dog, April, was suffering with severe dry eyes, acid reflux, osteoarthritis and has aged prematurely from the dog food poisoning that killed so many dogs and cats. But, as she is going into retirement, April is a happy girl and no longer needs the medicines for acid reflux and is sleeping through the night again thanks to changing to “The Honest Kitchen” dog food exactly one month ago. I have to thank one of your distributors, Diana Jones of LoneStar Manchesters who donated one of her beautiful Manchester Terriers to begin training as my new service dog and for introducing me to your nutritious dehydrated mixes.

April loves Force, and we are seeing marked differences in her health. Diana Jones not only donated a lovely dog, Libby, for my new service dog, she also introduced me to a better way of taking care of my old partner. April has certainly earned her retirement and I’m delighted that she will feel better and enjoy the variety and assortment of Honest Kitchen meals.

April changed my life 8 1/2 years ago. On the first day I brought her home, she started alerting before my seizures. I thought my neurologist would think I was crazy, but he was so excited and told me about service dogs. Although it took me forever to get through the training, April was patient and 100% accurate in her alerts. My family is thankful to have me back to my normal ditsy self, it is amazing how fast I healed once I knew when to lay down and quit hitting my head! My new dog, Libby, is a picture of health and has a wonderful disposition, I’m looking forward to the next 8 1/2 years with her.

I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate the foods you are creating for my working pardners. I’m so thankful so see my older dog feeling better and playing like a puppy again even if it is just for a few minutes a day. And I’m looking forward to the next eight years with my new partner, Lonestar Liberty, who was raised on The Honest Kitchen and shows it! April and LoneStar Liberty can’t wait to tell their vet about The Honest Kitchen, but I think when April goes in for her check up, her vet will see the improvement too.
