I rescued a young Boston Terrier that I named Lugosi and a year later my housemate left the back door open in a blizzard and Lugosi got out and a snow plow severed off his front leg.  I was driven to the emergency vet in a police car in a blizzard.  The amputation surgery for his front leg, plus he severed off the pads on his back foot, cost me over $6,000.

Lugosi

His recovery took weeks and I was very traumatized during all of this.  Then he started regurgitating/vomiting up his food at meal times.  I couldn't believe that this was happening, more trauma after everything we'd been though.  But no food was staying in.  He went from 18lbs to 14lbs his ribs showing.  The ER charged me $500 for an xray thinking he maybe swallowed a toy.  I was feeding him baby food.  Then my vet did an ultrasound for $250, then they did surgery, $1,800 and determined that he had Inflammatory bowel disease.  Then they told me to try Natural Balance duck & potato, I started with the wet and slowly they wanted me to switch to the dry kibble.

This all started in March and EVERY DAY he regurgitates this food 2-5x at feeding time.  It is AWFUL.  Every morning he struggles to keep his food down and throws it up and re-eats it.  I took matters into my own hands and started researching dog food and I found your company.

I wrote you and you said you're sending me samples but I couldn't wait, I went out and bought your Embark dog food and fed it to him the past 2 days and he had NOT vomited it up or regurgitated it.  He ate it no problem and was licking his lips.  I broke down crying in tears I was/am so elated that my dog is on the road to better health.  I want to thank you all so much for developing this formula.  It is going to change me and Lugosi's life dramatically.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Best,

Lindsay & Lugosi
