KitKat was found as a stray at around 5 weeks old and came into the family through my father who was very sick at the time and passed away a month later. He found such comfort in this little boy in the last days of his life...
KitKat moved around many times with us and I could never find the right food for him. He had several urinary tract infections after he was neutered and he was on special food, which he continually threw up. They could never find anything wrong with him, even after many tests. So I just had to switch and switch....over the years and he would do well at first then start throwing up again.
I started feedng him no grain and he did well for a short time...then fed him raw and he did okay with that for a longer time....then I started adding digestive and intestinal flora to his food and he did even better. One day after many bouts each day of the food coming back up, I thought about well if it is digestiion, then I need some predigested food...Honest Kitchen. At first KitKat wouldn't eat it, then when he realized that this was going to be his food.....he started eating it with the digestive enzymes, INPetSupplements, a few pieces of no grain kibble on top....
Whew, we have finally found the diet that he doesn't throw up.....it has been months now and he is doing well and happy and feeling good....
Thank you Honest Kitchen for our cat recipe......
