- Low Energy / Vitality, Liver Issues, Weight Issues: Overweight
In June of 2012, Swannie was treated for a virus and her blood work indicated that her liver numbers were in the high range. Our vet, who we trust completely, could not determine any possible explanation for why the numbers were so high. For a year she was treated with supplements. Her energy was low and she she was putting on extra weight. After her liver numbers stayed stable for 6 months, we stopped the supplements and the switched to The Honest Kitchen Force. Within a week her energy was picking up and after a month she lost 3 pounds. After feeding her Force for four months, we had blood work done again and her liver numbers were in the low normal range which our vet described as excellent. We couldn't be happy and neither could Swannie. She, at 10 years old, is behaving like a 5 year old again. She absolutely loves the food and its so good to know that we are feeding her such a high-quality, health promoting diet.
