- Bone / Joint Issues, Dental Issues, Skin / Coat Issues, Weight Issues: Overweight, Other - Depression
When we first introduced Jazzi to our home when she was two years old, she was such a joy. She loved everyone (except when she was on leash). She was healthy and vibrant, loved to play and spend time with her family. As the years went on Jazzi started to gain weight, her teeth looked terrible and her breath was no better, she started to develop fatty tumors and sebaceous cysts. By the time she reached the age of six, we could no longer take her on long walks, she would have a difficult time breathing, have a difficult time getting up from a laying down position. She just didn't have that extra "spunk" anymore. Then her sebaceous cyst opened and became infected, after rounds of antibiotics and about three months later the wound still didn't heal; then her older brother passed away from a very aggressive cancer. Jazzi stopped eating her kibble, her wound became worse. Finally I said enough is enough, no one could offer any advice or answers. So I began searching the raw food diet. I found and purchased The Honest Kitchen's Preference base mix from a different seller I purchased a Green Tripe Supermix meat/organ/bone raw food mixture to add to the Preference base mix. Jazzi started eating again, her wound healed within 60 days, her coat is much softer, she has no problems getting up from a laying down position, her teeth are now white, her breath no longer smells. It is just amazing! Love The Honest Kitchen products!!
