Autumn Cupcakes for Pups

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Honest Kitchen Halcyon Duck Recipe
  • 1/4 cup canned pumpkin (not pie mix)
  • 2 free-range eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, for decorating (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Place paper liners in a 12-cup muffin pan.
  2. In a glass bowl, combine the Halcyon and pumpkin. Add the eggs and applesauce. Stir thoroughly to combine.
  3. Divide the mixture among the paper liners. Bake for 25-35 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in the center of a cupcake comes out clean. Allow the cupcake to cool for 10 minutes before carefully removing them from the pan.
  4. If desired, use a knife to spread a small amount of cream cheese on the top of each cupcake.
