Not only does this Cheesy Chicken Delight Dog Food include plenty of this lean meat (along with Honest Kitchen’s Revel dry formula), we’ve also added cottage cheese. Another great source of protein, cottage cheese is a source of calcium and it aids in digestion.

Cheesy Chicken Delight Dog Food

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 2 chicken breasts boneless and diced
  • 1/2 cup Honest Kitchen Revel dehydrated formula
  • 1 cup brown rice cooked
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup green beans
  • 1/2 cup carrots diced
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/3 teaspoon ground turmeric

Instructions

  1. Cook brown rice in small pot on stove or in rice steamer. Set aside once cooked.
  2. Heat olive oil in a medium pan. Brown ground chicken and chicken breasts on medium-high heat. Using a spatula, stir and cut diced pieces of chicken breasts until meat is browned.
  3. Turn heat to medium and stir in Revel dry mix, rice, egg, ground turmeric, and vegetables. Mix well for five minutes.
  4. Stir in cottage cheese. Mix well for five minutes.
  5. Let cool to room temperature. Sort out portions, refrigerate and freeze in containers.

Recipe Notes

Make sure the chicken breast is diced into small pieces; they should be big enough for your dog to chew on, but not small enough for them to swallow whole.
