Egg Nog Dog Treats

It’s time to get your eggnog on!

Thanks to The Honest Kitchen’s Egg Nog Instant Powder, your pooch will be decking the halls with wags and woofs. With ingredients including goat’s milk, honey, eggs, and warming cinnamon, you know that your dog’s belly will be happy this holiday season. But drinking isn’t all you can do with it: we’ve added it to homemade dog treats for even more Yuletide cheer!

Egg Nog Dog Treats


  • 2 cups gluten-free flour
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free oats
  • 2 tablespoons the honest kitchen Egg Nog Instant Powder
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup water as needed


  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Line a cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk the egg for about a minute. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, add gluten free flour, gluten free oats, Egg Nog powder and cinnamon. Mix well.
  4. Add whisked egg, peanut butter, and honey into the dry mix. Stir until a firm dough is formed. Add water if necessary.
  5. Roll dough out on a floured surface to ½ inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutters and place on cookie sheets.
  6. Place in oven and bake for 20-23 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool on racks for 1 hour. Keep treats stored in fridge or freezer in airtight container.
