Marvelous Honest Kitchen Turkey Stew

Nothing warms the heart and soul like a hearty stew. Another great thing about a homemade stew is that it nourishes the body. Adding The Honest Kitchen’s Limited Ingredient Turkey Recipe and lean ground turkey, along with carrots and green beans, this stew will keep your dog warm, toasty, and well-fed—no matter what the season.

Marvelous Honest Kitchen Turkey Stew


  • 3 cups water
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1 cup the honest kitchen's Limited Ingredient Turkey Recipe dehydrated food
  • 1 cup carrots diced
  • 1 cup green beans diced
  • 2 cups brown rice cooked
  • 1 tablespoon brewer’s yeast


  1. Cook rice in rice cooker or pot. Set aside.
  2. In a large stock pot, bring water to boil. Add raw meat and vegetables. Cook over medium heat until carrots and green beans are tender, stirring occasionally for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Add dehydrated food, cooked rice and Brewers yeast to the pot. Stir into stew.
  4. Turn heat down to low/simmer and cook for 15 minutes.
  5. Turn off heat and allow to cool.

Recipe Notes

You can serve this stew warm or cool. Take out what you need for a few day's meals, and keep the remaining portion in the freezer.
