A New Improvement To Our Vitamin Premix

We’ve decided to add thiamine mononitrate to our pet food vitamin premix.

Thiamine is also known as Vitamin B1. We’ve decided to add this valuable B vitamin to our foods as part of our human grade premix, to bolster the levels in our finished recipes.

Thiamine can benefit both dogs and cats. It’s important for muscle contraction and nervous system function, as well as helping cells convert carbohydrates into energy.

Thiamine mononitrate is the preferred and most bioavailable source of thiamine for food supplementation. Our thiamine mononitrate is sourced from Germany. We’re updating our AAFCO nutrient profiles to reflect this new improvement.
