Healthy Hearts Dog Treat Recipe
  • 2cups rice flour
  • 3/4cup the honest kitchen Grain Free Limited Ingredient Turkey Recipeor recipe of your choice
  • 1cup ground flax seeds
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free oats
  • 1 banana
  • 1 egg
  • 1teaspoon turmeric
  • 1teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4cup water
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Mash banana in small bowl. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, add rice flour, Grain Free Limited Ingredient Turkey Recipe, ground flax seeds, oats, turmeric and cinnamon. Combine well.
  4. Add banana and egg to the dry ingredients. Mix well
  5. Slowly add in water to the mixture. Kneed into a large ball of dough. It should be slightly sticky.
  6. Roll out onto a floured surface to ¼ inch thickness. Cut using cookie cutters and place on cookie sheets.
  7. Place in oven and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and place on cooling racks for 1-2 hours.
  9. Store in air tight containers and keep in fridge or freezer.
Recipe Notes

Because the dough is sticky, stray the rolling pin with oil. That way, the dough won’t stick to the pin.
