I Love Carob Dog Treat
A dog treat that’s delicious and healthy—it’s true that the best Valentine’s Day gifts are homemade!
  • 1 ½cups flourall-purpose gluten-free
  • 1 ½cups oat flour
  • ¾cup Carob chips
  • ½cup Honest Kitchen Force dehydrated dog food
  • ½tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • ¾cup water
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flours, Honest Kitchen and carob chips. Combine well.
  3. Add peanut butter and egg to the dry mix to moisten it, until completely combined.
  4. Add water to the mixture slowly until you have a stiff dough.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface, about ¼ to ½ inch thick. Use a Valentine’s Day themed cookie cutter to press out shapes. Place on cookie sheets.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool on racks for about 1-2 hours.
  7. For a longer shelf life, store in air tight containers and place in refrigerator or freezer until needed.
