Snow-conut Holiday Treats

These holiday-inspired, deliciously cute snowman treats for pups are the perfect answer to a snowy day spent indoors.  They’ll keep your pups happy and will give you and your family a fun activity to do if you’re stuck inside during cold weather.  Feel free to make a whole snow family including some snow pets!  These will make a great addition to your gingerbread house!

Snow-conut Holiday Treats

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 3/4 cup dried coconut flakes
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 bunch broccoli Optional
  • 2 tbsp dried cranberries Optional
  • 2 tbsp dried blueberries Optional
  • 2 tbsp dried papaya Optional
  • 1 cup carrot sticks Optional
  • 1/2 cup raw sweet potato Optional

Instructions

  1. Add the yogurt, almond flour, honey and coconut oil to a bowl and combine.
  2. Roll into bite sized balls and roll in coconut flakes.
  3. Use balls to form your snowman or snow-pup.
  4. Keep in refrigerator or freezer in air tight container until needed.

Recipe Notes

Decorate your snowman using dried cranberries, dried papaya, broccoli (makes a great hat!), dried blueberries, carrot sticks or small cuts of raw sweet potato.
