April is a 9 year old Shihtzu mix Maltese. Her urine test showed presence of Calcium Oxalate. I read about THK and tried to change her food to this. She took on it rightaway, seemingly never got enough of it. I was worried that she wouldn't like it at first as she is very very picky about food. I mixed more vege for her as advised by the vet, and she didn't even notice. I mixed THK to be more soupy so that she could drink more water. Her urine is now so much clearer and the percentage of Calcium Oxalate has reduced too on the last test!
nAt first she couldn't take all the nutrients, probably cos she has been on kibbles for many years and she produce massive amount of stools!! THK customer service replied promptly to my queries via email and advised on adding enzymes/ pro biotic to her meal. It worked wonders and her stool has been greatly reduced!!
