Hale with Poached Salmon and Boiled Eggs

hale dog food

Salmon is a super source of omega 3 essential fatty acids which help to support eye and heart health, skin and coat and total immune system activity. Take care to remove the bones from the salmon fillet before serving (this is usually easier to do after poaching).

Ingredients
Hale™ dog food base mix
1 filet salmon
2 fresh eggs (preferably free range)

What to do
1. Preheat the oven to 395°F.
2. Place a large salmon fillet in a large baking dish. Add enough water to cover the salmon, and then carefully place in the oven to poach for about 12 minutes.
3. Bring a saucepan of water to the boil on the stovetop and once simmering, add two eggs using a large slotted spoon and simmer about 8 minutes.
4. Remove the salmon from the oven.
5. Drain the water from the saucepan of eggs and place the pan under cold running water to cool them.
5. Hydrate the Hale with warm water according to the directions on the package.
6. Peel and slice the eggs.
7. Remove and remaining bones from the salmon and add to the Hale and Eggs. Serve warm or cooled!
