Roast Lamb, Kindly, Mint & Safflower

lamb and kindly dog food

Lamb is a warming (yang) food in traditional Chinese Medicine, and is idea for dogs who are slightly weak, chilly and lacking energy. In contrast, a dog who’s hot, possibly red and itchy, would do better on a cooling (yin) meat such as duck, so please substitute accordingly if you think duck is a better choice for your pup.

If preferred, the meat can be fed raw in this recipe, instead of cooked.
