We rescued Cody from an animal shelter about 10 months ago. He was never very excited to eat which I thought was peculiar for a dog. And for the first 6 months, he had very runny poops. We took him to the vet which gave him some antibiotics which didn't do anything. Put him on a canned food bland diet which was way too expensive to sustain. I googled a homemade dog food recipe which we made in bulk and put in the freezer; but it was way too time consuming. I was hesitant to start honest kitchen dog food because of the price, but we bought a small box and Cody loved it. He gobbled it up and his stools were normal on it. We also found a dog food that worked for us. So, Cody gets a special morning meal with the honest kitchen grain-free chicken food and dog food at night.
I love how it's human grade. I mean, he's a family member now, so I feel good knowing he's eating a quality food.
Thanks honest kitchen!
