My Ace Dog is like my son! So, spending the extra $ for this amazing food is not ever a question. I make it happen.
A little background on Ace...
I found him when he was 5 or so. He had ear infections, toe nail infections, heart worms, and he was 31lbs over weight. He resembled Eeyore by attitude and he was a very unhealthy dog.
I've had him for 5 years now and after so many vet visits and trying different things, Ace was still getting sick every 3 months like clockwork. To keep him from getting sick I turned to cooking for him. I was convinced it was a diet thing regardless of what the vets said. I was also becoming a little hopeless that I would never be able to keep him well. . .
Anyway- Cooking for him made him a little better but was soooo time consuming. Then I found thehonestkitchen.com - what a miracle!! I watched my Ace Dog transform right before my eyes. In 2 weeks time Ace was jumping, smiling, loosing weight, running with other dogs, and most importantly he hasn't been sick for 6 months!!!! He has this little shimmer in his eyes when he looks at me. He is obviously not feeling ill anymore! After all of our hard work with Ace over the years I can't believe I didn't find this food sooner.
Each time I order I grab some free samples to give out to strangers at the dog park because no doggie should have to suffer from poor diet. I just can't say thank you enough to this brand. You saved my fur babies life!

Gerry and Duffy love HK! Duffy has an allergy to peas which is one of the main ingredients in most dog foods. Fortunate for us, several of the HK products do not contain peas! We usually alternate between Force and Verve.
HK is easy to store and make and "we" love that it is human grade. :)

Our dog loves this food!! I can barely put his food bowl down before he pounces on the food. We adopted him this past winter, and shortly after he became so itchy and lost a lot of his fur. Since starting him on The Honest Kitchen, he has become less itchy and his fur is growing back!
