
Autumn Cupcakes for Pups

Who says picnics are just for summer? Cap off an early fall picnic with this delicious dessert. Your dogs will lap up the apple and pumpkin after they finish frolicking in leaf piles and enjoying the crisp air.
Ingredients
- cream cheese, for decorating (optional)
- free-range eggs, beaten
- the honest kitchen's Whole Grain Turkey Recipe
- unsweetened applesauce
canned pumpkin (not pie mix)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350° F. Place paper liners in a 12-cup muffin pan.
- In a glass bowl, combine the dry food and pumpkin. Add the eggs and applesauce. Stir thoroughly to combine.
- Divide the mixture among the paper liners. Bake for 25-35 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in the center of a cupcake comes out clean. Allow the cupcake to cool for 10 minutes before carefully removing them from the pan.
- If desired, use a knife to spread a small amount of cream cheese on the top of each cupcake.
