Making homemade dog treats is a fun activity you can do indoors.
Try this super simple treat recipe using just 1 egg, and pantry essentials you probably have on hand. It’s super versatile and tasty, too! We used Honest kitchen's 99% Meat Topper, but feel free to make substitutions based on what you have in your pantry!Ingredients
-
1 egg
-
1 box The Honest Kitchen’s 99% Meat Topper
-
1 cup oats
-
¼ cup cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 350.
- In a small bowl, mix 1 cup oats, 1 egg, 1 99% meat, and ¼ cup cheese until well combined.
- Grease the bottom of a small baking dish (you can even use oven-safe glass pyrex), or mini cupcake pan.
- Spread the mixture. Bake for 20 minutes for a chewy texture, or 30 for crispy.
- Cut into bite size pieces and refrigerate for up to one week.
Recipe Note
You can make these into carrot cake bites by shredding in a few baby carrots and some sprinkles of cinnamon.
