It’s a frozen fruit cocktail for your dog!
Things are really starting to heat up here—outside and in the kitchen. When it’s this hot, I don’t want to be in the kitchen by a hot stove. That’s why these easy four-ingredient frozen dog treats come in handy. They’re super simple to make—I had these ones setting to freeze in about five minutes. And my dog loves mango, so any excuse to add them into a treat makes his day. Remember to always peel the skin and remove any seeds before giving them to your dog or adding them to this treat recipe.Ingredients
-
1 banana (mashed)
-
1 1/2 unsweetened coconut water
-
1 cup mango (skin removed & chopped)
-
1 tbsp The Honest Kitchen's Instant Goat's Milk
Directions
In a blender or food processor, add mango, banana, coconut water, and Instant Goat's Milk. Puree for 1 minute or until the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the blended mixture into ice cube trays or molds.
- Allow the treats to freeze for up to eight hours, to allow them to fully set.
- Run warm water around the mold to remove.
Recipe Note
I always place a piece of cardboard on the bottom of my freezer rack before putting the molds in. They always spill a little, so the cardboard catches the sticky juice and I don’t have to clean the freezer.
