Afro struggled with weight management for a few years before switching to The Honest Kitchen. He's also a picky eater which didn't help our journey in trying to get him on track. He pretty much only wanted to eat cheap kibble or canned food. I tried a few human grade dog foods before finally settling down with the honest kitchen. He's now at a healthy weight without feeling like I'm starving him. He's full of energy and great bowel movements! It's not a fight to get him to eat his food every meal, he excited and happy to eat.
