Annick

Annick / Annick is a 6 year old miniature Schnoodle. We got her at nine weeks, and she only weighed one pound fifteen ounces. She played, ate, and brought a smile to everyones face that she met. Her initial weight gain was normal until the day she was spayed at the age of one. Her belly seemed to become flabby overnight, and she ballooned to 22 pounds. We fed her an organic weight management food, feeding her portions for a goal of 16 pounds, increased her exercise, all to no avail. Our Vet then recommended that we switch her to Hills Prescription Canine Metabolic Advanced Weight Solution. (If that food sounds like a science experiment, it was. And it failed.) She ate it, but then just sat and stared into space, no running, no playing with toys, no interest in being petted. She was comatose. After only two days of this, we said no more. We searched the internet, and found Honest Kitchen. Healthy Spot recommended Zeal to us, and Annick has not eaten anything else since. (OK, maybe she does eat Pecks and Beams too.) We got our Annick back but even better. She is six years old now, but we call her our Puppy for Life. Thank you Honest Kitchen!
