Border Collie — Age 12

I want to thank you for a wonderful product! We rescued a boarder collie from a kill shelter in Idaho Falls, ID 10 years ago. She came with some very bad bored boarder collie habits from being chained in a back yard in your youth. One of these habits was chasing cars and tire biting. With diligent work she was, what we thought, trained out of it until one day she went tearing out of the barn after a passing car. She was hit sustained a pelvic fracture and dislocated hip. She healed quite well but it slowed her down (she would have been an amazing agility dog). Now at 12, we are careful with her activity level but she continues to enjoy going on my walk/runs and other hikes but will yip a little the next day when she gets up from lying down. We were talking to our vet about possibly taking our her femoral head to reduce her pain.
I started to feed her Beams as a treat every morning (stinky little things but she LOVES them) and we are noticing that she does not yip anymore after having an outing. I think that we are on our 4th box or so. The vet even noticed that she is moving out better and we have all decided to wait on surgery since she seems pretty happy. I am a firm believer in food as medicine and even though the beams are small, I believe that they have given her something that is supporting her hip joint allowing her to be able to play without significant consequences of pain.
Thank You for having a wonderful product! I look forward to exploring your other products
