All True Stories
Bailey is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and they have a tendency to put on weight if you are not careful. He was not overweight (19 lbs) but would have been healthier a pound lighter. I was feeding him a combination of a high end canned and kibbles. He liked the food but I could not get him to lose weight without feeling like I was starving him.
n
nI happened into a specialty pet store while I was on vacation and started talking to the owner about foods in general. I always felt that I was a good mom because I was feeding a high end food. I knew it would be better to do a raw diet but I just could not manage all the prep work needed for that kind of diet. I did not know that there were dehydrated options. So as soon as I got home I did some online research. Honest Kitchen kept moving the to top of the list due to the quality of ingredients and the green focus of the company.
n
nSo I went into my local specialty pet store and got some samples. Bailey (and his brother Cavalier, Stewart) absolutely loved the food. So I bought a big box. They have been on the food for only a few weeks but Bailey is down to 18 pounds and definitely has more energy. I am able to feed him more than I was before and he still lost weight.
n
nPreparing the food is so easy and I like the fact that I am feeding them human quality food. I will never go back to kibbles!

nThank you Honest Kitchen!
