 Barbara / I met Barbara when she was brought in as an owner surrender at H.A.T.S. in Mount Pleasant, it was clear right away that she was regularly fed cheap low grade food and had developed terrible intolerances. Her paws were chewed bare to the skin, her ears were inflamed and the cartilage left permanently scarred from years of itching, and hotspots covered her hind quarters and back. It just so happened a few days prior a volunteer donated some Honest Kitchen food they bought online. We promptly started Barb on a honest kitchen diet, along with oatmeal baths and a bevy of medications. Within days you could see how comfortable she was! She stopped itching, her energy levels picked up,and she regained her desire to eat. To this day she loves to chow down and I liked the ingredients so much I bought it for my own two rescues, Tatertot and Ellie.
