 Bella / I rescued my dog from the shelter, so I had very little detail regarding her background. I didn't know she was allergic to certain ingredients until my vet mentioned the idea of it. A lot of commercial brands contain grains and unnecessary fillers that can cause an allergic reaction. A lot of those brands almost always contain beef, which my dog is allergic to. I am glad that Honest Kitchen has for example, Halycon, which is duck, a unique protein source, and my dog isn't allergic to it! She gets excited everytime I start making the food- love it!
