Bentley
Bentley developed severe skin allergies when he was about 6 years old, so bad that he was licking and scratching raw spots anywhere he could reach. We tried several types of food and even RX pet food and limited his grains and started to see a slow improvement. I settled on feeding him Blue Buffalo (at the time, I did a lot of research and a lot of things pointed me to that brand.) After a few months, his skin issues seemed to disappear. One night, 2 days before Christmas, we came home from a party to find that he had spent all evening vomiting all over the house. He wouldn't eat or drink, so we took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with Pancreatitis and we were told he could have died. It was traced to the high fat content in his dog food. I felt so horrible. I spent the next 6 months cooking for him myself. Finally, someone suggested The Honest Kitchen and I've never turned back. He loves it, his skin allergies have never returned, he lost about 5 pounds and you would never know he is 11 years old. I recommend The Honest Kitchen to anyone I can and have witnessed several cases of my friends dogs losing weight or no longer having skin issues due to feeding them The Honest Kitchen. A pet is truly a part of the family and they deserve great quality food, I will never feed my pets anything different.
