Birmy

Australian Cattle Dog — Age 3

We found our dog Birmy a couple of years ago walking in the woods, covered in ticks. We searched for the owners with no luck -which was good because I was already in love. He ended up testing positive for lyme disease which we were able to treat with antibiotics. A little over a year ago Birmy began to show signs of not wanting to eat and he began having seizures. Our vet is not sure whether the seizures are correlated to his lyme disease or epilepsy. Shortly after the seizures I began doing research on dog foods and was horrified at what I was reading! This led me to the honest kitchen. Birmy LOVES his food now and can barely wait the 3 minutes for the food to hydrate. He still had seizures but they have become fewer and father apart. I truely believe the honest kitchen is to thank for his improvement!
