Bruin tore his cruciate ligament this past March. After he had surgery we had to concentrate on making sure his leg healed properly and we had to take some weight off him and keep it off. During the time he was recovering I was naturally spending a lot of time online reading up on ways to help him get better. This led me to finding the best possible food for him and Honest Kitchen. Initially I tried FORCE which Bruin and his labby sister Sophie loved. But Sophie at 2 1/2 and Bruin at 4 are young dogs so I switched to Embark which has a higher protein content.

nNow it's true labs love to eat, but they really love Embark. Both pups eat in their crates so at dinner time they go in their crates and wait. Bruin comes into the kitchen to make sure I'm actually getting their meals prepared, however as soon as I take the spatula out to stir the water into their food he rushes back to his crate. He is literally drooling when I brink the bowl to him. And he is now a lean (not mean) fighting machine. I can feel his ribs when I pet him. He is doing so well on Embark and I feel good about what I'm feeding both of them
