Bugsy has always been such a picky eater. I tried numerous different brands of dog food, but no matter which brand I used, Bugsy would quickly lose interest. The first time I would serve him a new brand, he would seem slightly interested in the kibble. This interest, however, would completely fizzle out by the second or third time I would feed him the same brand. He would look at me during mealtime as if he wanted to say, really? This stuff again?? Often he would refuse to eat the kibble at all- sometimes going as long as two days without eating any of his meals. I thought I had tried everything- I even took him to the vet to make sure that nothing medical was causing his lack of interest in eating. Nothing is medically wrong with him, he apparently just has human-like standards when it comes to food. I was losing my mind trying to figure out what I could do to get Bugsy to eat, I felt awful that mealtime was so frustrating and depressing for the both of us. That was when the owner of one of Bugsy's friends at doggy daycare told me about The Honest Kitchen. I figured it was worth trying, but I was very doubtful that it would be any different from the hundreds of other brands of dog food that I had tried. Boy, was I wrong! Now that I feed Bugsy Honest Kitchen, mealtime is finally enjoyable again! Bugsy wolfs down his Honest Kitchen every time. I guess when you have a dog that genuinely sees himself as a person, not a dog, you just have to feed him like you would feed a person!
