Carlo is my foster dog who came into the rescue shut down, crusted eyes, infected ears and terrible looking skin. To be honest, we thought he was dying. I took him home and gave him his own spot to decompress. As the days went by, I would build trust with him so we could get him to the vet. I asked the vet what needed to be done to get his skin looking healthier, he looked so sickly. My vet advised I need to start feeding him food with fish and turkey as the main ingredient to help with his allergy issues. I have 4 small dogs of my own, and 4 small foster dogs. I mixed this food up and every dog was at my feet! It has changed Carlos skin and overall appearance significantly.
I love this food because you can make your own consistency. Sometimes when giving a pill, I mix it thick so I can make a patty and hide the pill and not one of my dogs or many, many fosters ever noticed the pill! Every dog gobbles this food up! I also sprinkle it on top of dry food. I add the dry mix to bone broth also. I LOVE the healthiness and versatility with this dry mix. It works as food, a treat and a pill popper! I also mix this in with canned dog food. My dogs love it that much!
Just look at the images of Carlo, there is a clear difference in his overall appearance and health due to this food. When you foster, food is provided for you. I believe in this food so much I pay for it myself because I want all the dogs that were neglected to start out in my home with health and love! They absolutely deserve it!
