Charlie

Charlie is my amazing therapy dog who rescued me when he was 4 1/2. Now almost 13, he has some neurological, digestive and heart issues. Approximately 3 years ago his Vet put him on a prescription diet. I was not happy about this, as the prescription was one food, with chicken (which he had been allergic to) and multiple additives that did not seem good. I searched and did alot of researching, looking for a low fat, low salt diet that did not contain many preservatives or other additives that were not necessary. I came across Honest Kitchen, and called and spoke to their customer service. They were extremely helpful in recommending the right type for Charlie. I also gave this food to my younger dog, Kona. Needless to say, more than 3 years later, on the same flavor, they can't eat it fast enough. Every meal they anticipate the food, jumping around, like it is something they have never had before, and both lick their bowls completely clean, always then switching to check the other's bowl to see if even a morsel has been left behind! I know that Charlie has continued to be healthy in part because of this high quality food. I also use the goat's milk which they lap up every night so excitedly, and the treats. I am so grateful to have this high quality food for my boys, and recommend it to all my friends and anyone else who asks what to feed their dog. I wouldn't choose anything else!
