Our dog Chase had pyoderma on his feet for close to 8 months. We did a food trial and suspect that he has a sensitivity to flaxseed. One switching to Honest Kitchen Limited Ingredient Chicken his skin issues vanished and any cut/scrapes he gets on the trail hiking heal up much quicker than they did in the past. Flaxseed is a cheap source of omegas and many companies use it in lieu of an animal source of omegas like Salmon Oil. We are very appreciative to have this diet from HK but wish they would offer more variety (protein sources) in the future. Chase seems to have nice, small poop that are well-formed.
