In her senior years, Cleo has become a very picky eater. Not eating enough lead to low energy levels and she was having a tougher time moving around. Our first try with Honest Kitchen Chicken was a flop, (I guess with14 years of eating chicken everyday she'd lost interest completely) but the Turkey was a big win. She was eating better and had more energy, but within a few weeks she seemed to be less interested in the food again. There were no health or digestive problems detected by the vet.
nThen we moved to the Zeal Grain-Free Fish recipe and WOW - she loves it! She circles the kitchen every morning and night anxiously waiting the 3 minutes for it to be ready. She's been jumping around like a young pup, lasts much longer on walks, shoots down the staircase like she did years ago, and truly seems all-around happier. Her coat is noticeable softer and shinier, too!
